This is column is a little selfserving, but the media needs a little support these days. President Donald Trump’s chief strategist, Steve Bannon, called the media “the opposition party” and said it should “keep its mouth shut.” This is beyond disturbing. During a time in our history when people can literally watch whatever 24-hour news channel that fits what they want to believe, declaring war on the media is dangerous.
