There may not be crying in baseball, but there is cheating.
The Houston Astros stole the signs of opposing teams by using a camera positioned in center field in 2017. Team personnel would watch the feed in a hallway between the clubhouse and dugout, and would relay what was coming by hitting a garbage can.
As a result, Major League Baseball issued five major penalties that included one year suspensions of manager A.J. Hinch, general manager Jeff Luhnow and former assistant general manager Brandon Taubman.
