I watched St. Francis coach Bryan Reichmuth leave the press conference followed by the biggest name in the state tournament Allison Weidner. I stood up and shook their hands, thanking them for their time.

They had just lost the championship game, and had to answer why. That’s what everyone wants to know win or lose. Why? Why did you do this and why did you do that?

Both handled it well, Allison, eyes still puffy from the emotions of a tough loss, was there as the best player in the tournament, and Bryan ever the professional.
