Nothing like a disaster to restore my faith in humanity.

As we watch from the safety of our dry homes, Texas, particularly Houston, is being ravaged by Hurricane Harvey.

It has been reported that More than 30,000 people have fled to Houston shelters while many others — too numerous to count — have been displaced since Harvey came ashore as a Category 4 hurricane, bringing an estimated 51 inches of rain. At least 44 people have died so far as a result of the hurricane.
