The City of Humphrey will remain in a City Health Emergency until May 17.
Gov. Pete Ricketts held a teleconference with mayors of Cities of the Second Class April 1, reminding us of the statewide limit of no more than 10 people meeting in public at anytime.
Ricketts emphasized groups of 10 are allowed but must maintain the prescribed 6-foot distance between them to help control the spread of Covid-19.
On April 3, East Central District Health Department issued a Directive Health Measure for Boone, Colfax, Nance and Platte counties. Sixty Nebraska counties are currently under state ordered Directed Health Measures which sets strict rules for public gatherings, business practices and quarantine measures.
The DHM’s restrict all restaurants, taverns, bars and private clubs, which are now restricted to drive-through or carry-out only.
Ricketts said additional counties will be included in the DHM’s as the spread of Covid-19 continues across the state. The City of Humphrey will continue to work with the State of Nebraska, East Central District Health Department and the CDC to monitor and enforce rules set forth to help control the spread of Covid-19
