Former chairman of village board helped community grow

For 24 years Dave Albracht helped oversee Lindsay’s growth and development.

He spent nearly a quarter of a century as a member of the Village Board of Trustees, 20 as its chairman.

December marked the end of the run for Albracht, 65,who chose not to seek reelection to the board.

The thought of stepping away from the board first occurred to him about eight years ago, but first he had something he wanted to help get done.
