City water gets clean bill of health

Administrative Order lifted by Health & Human Services
The City of Humphrey is no longer under an Administrative Order for high levels of arsenic and selenium.
 
The city received a letter recently from the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services (NDHHS) announcing the end of the order.
 
Howard Isaacs, administrator of the Office of Drinking Water and Environmental Health of the NDHHS sent a letter dated Feb. 28, stating it is terminating the Administrative Order to comply with the maximum level of arsenic and selenium.
