HHS speech team 5th at Pierce

On Jan. 14, the Humphrey Speech team kicked off their season at Pierce. The team placed fifth out of 22 teams registered at the meet.

The speech team includes six seniors this year: Jade Christensen (OID, Duet, Humorous and Entertainment), Kenny Osten (OID, Duet, and Serious), Alexander Kuehler (Persuasive, Extemporaneous), Michayla Goedeken (Duet, Informative), Monika Laudenklos (Entertainment, Poetry, and Serious), Kaydie (OID). There are four juniors: Trinity Young (OID, Informative, Humorous and Extemporaneous) Christopher Bialas (OID, Humorous, Serious, Poetry) and Tylea Thompson (OID and Duet). The sophomore speakers are Zane Bertrand (Duet and Entertainment) and Yasmine Bender (OID, Duet and Poetry). The freshmen are Aidan Weidner (OID, Duet and Serious), Mikayla Martensen (OID and Persuasive), Triniti Gembica (OID and Duet), Allie Schneider (OID), Will Whited ( OID and Humorous), Hailey Vavra (Duet) and Ashley Schemek (Duet and Informative).
