HPS levy up 2 cents

Humphrey Public School is increasing its levy request by 2 cents.

The board of education approved the 2020-21 budget and tax request at its Sept. 14 meeting.

Overall, the proposed tax rate for 2020-21 is 0.408 or 41 cents per $100 assessed valuation. It was 0.390, or 39 cents per $100 assessed valuation a year ago.
