It seems so real
The screams, the cries for help, the body bag. It all seemed so real.
This time it was just a drill, but the message was clear: Next time it could be real.
The Humphrey Fire & Rescue Unit staged a mock accident on the gravel road outside of Humphrey Monday morning to teach students from St. Francis and Humphrey High, that drinking and driving and distracted driving can have fatal consequences.
The message hit home for the four students taking part in the simulation, and hopefully, for those students lined up watching the scene.
