Lindsay board approves hazard mitigation plan

Lindsay has a hazard mitigation plan.

The board of trustees approved a resolution adopting the 2020 Lower Platte North NRD hazard mitigation plan at its Oct. 5 meeting.

Tim Hofbauer, Platte County Emergency Management director, told the board the plan is updated every five years, and the plan is needed in order for projects to be funded through the grant program.
