Lindsay board finalizes sale of land
The sale of land north of the lake was finalized June 3 by the Lindsay Village Board of Trustees.
The deal was final after a public auction was held during the May 6 meeting, and Thomas Fehringer purchased the 2.5 acres for $750, which is located north from the village pond across the highway.
The board entered into a franchise agreement with Stealth Broadband to provide Internet service for the village. It is a 10-year deal with a five-year renewal option.
Several projects were put on hold, including paving Hillside Drive and Dewey and Ash streets. Hillside Drive project is on hold as the village waits to see what FEMA will do with it as well as the roads in the park that were damaged by flooding.
