St. Francis junior Andrew Kosch, right, shot a 78 and finished as runner up in the Patriot Invite. Freshmen Jacob Keller, left, carded an 86 and earned the 14th place medal. The team shot a 355 which placed them 5th in the 15 team tournament.

Lindsay waiting to hear from NDOT

The Village of Lindsay is waiting on the Nebraska Department of Transportation.

Board members discussed at their Nov. 2 meeting, their request to have the speed limit reduced on Highway 91 and the curb and gutter issues on the south side of Highway 91 from Maple Street to the east side of Dry Creek Bridge.

The board has been requesting the NDOT reduce the speed limit on Highway 91 entering Lindsay. The board wants it reduced to 35 mph on Highway 91 outside of Lindsay. Currently, speed is not reduced from 45 mph to 35 mph until in town.
