St. Francis junior Andrew Kosch, right, shot a 78 and finished as runner up in the Patriot Invite. Freshmen Jacob Keller, left, carded an 86 and earned the 14th place medal. The team shot a 355 which placed them 5th in the 15 team tournament.

St. Francis senior starts Big Sisters program to help young girls

There are a lot of big sisters at St. Francis School thanks to Peighton Eisenmenger.

The senior has started a Big Sisters program in the school to help younger girls transition into junior high and high school and to let them know they are not alone.

“It’s a way for the older classmen to get to know the younger classmen better because I noticed I didn’t really know the freshmen or the seventh-graders and eighth-graders, so I wanted to do something fun and something for the younger classmen so they would have someone to talk to. I know how difficult high school can be for young girls,” she said.
