St. Francis junior Andrew Kosch, right, shot a 78 and finished as runner up in the Patriot Invite. Freshmen Jacob Keller, left, carded an 86 and earned the 14th place medal. The team shot a 355 which placed them 5th in the 15 team tournament.

St. Francis book fair keeps shelves stocked

The St. Francis Scholastic Book Fair keeps the library stocked with books.

Held in September each year, the proceeds from the book fair provide a way through Scholastic dollars/credits for the librarians at St. Francis to update their collections without making a dent in the library budget. The more sold, the more credits the school earns for the purchase of books.

Those who support book fairs at schools may not realize the impact of their purchases to the library budgets for books and supplies each year, but it is tremendous.
