Summer of games, crafts, animals, fun at Humphrey Public Library

Summer activities at the Humphrey Public Library ended Aug. 3 with the finish of the “A Universe of Stories” reading/ board game.

There were nine reading winners that navigated through the “Universe” board game, they are Kenna Olmer, Marissa and Claire Hellbusch, Aubrey Bower, Rilley Robinson, Camryn Goetsch, and Claire, Emma and Meg Wegener.

While the kids play the board game, they are also accumulating reading pages. For kids 6 years and under, the top three reading page winners are (1) Kenna Olmer, (2) Emma and Meg Wegener, and (3) Kelsey Kosch. Claire Wegener is the first place winner in the 7-9 year-old category, with Marissa Hellbusch in second and Myles Ott in third place. In the 10-13 year-old age group, first place goes to Lexi Morfeld, (2) Matthew Brockhaus, and (3) Kiley Heinen. In the 14 and up age group, Autumn Bender was first, (2) Delaney Olmer, and (3) Anna Brockhaus.
