The Kellers, owners of Main Street Market in Humphrey, have purchased the Lindsay Cooperative Market, and will take over in May. The deal was announced March 20 during the annual Cooperative Market community meeting. Lindsay Holy Family students celebrated National Ag Day March 19 thanks to Bank of Lindsay, Lindsay Insurance and Elite Realty. Students were treated to breakfast at the bank and insurance office, served by the staff. Sausage, eggs and donuts were served, with the eggs provided by Four Sisters Backyard Farms, located just east and north of Lindsay. Stella (8), Scarlett (6), Eloise (4), and Lydia (15 months) Beller, with supervision from their mother, Summer Beller, have operated since 2021. Democrat photo

The Goldenrod Conference recently released its all conference teams and the St. Francis Flyers and Lady Flyers were well represented. Eight veterans were honored Thursday during the Humphrey Veterans Day program at St. Francis High School. They received the Quilts of Valor made by members of the Pins & Needles Quilt Club.
