St. Francis junior Andrew Kosch, right, shot a 78 and finished as runner up in the Patriot Invite. Freshmen Jacob Keller, left, carded an 86 and earned the 14th place medal. The team shot a 355 which placed them 5th in the 15 team tournament.

Alvin William Bender, known to family and friends as “Bones” passed from this life to eternal rest on Sept. 14, 2020.
Services were held Friday, Sept. 18, 2020, at Holy Family Church in Lindsay, Neb., with Father Eric Olsen officiating. Visitation was 5-7 p.m. and the Mass of Christian Burial was Saturday, Sept. 19, 2020. Burial was at Holy Family Cemetery in Lindsay, Neb.

Due to recent COVID-19 restrictions and out of an abundance of caution, there will not be a meal served after the burial. Please be respectful of the family and if feeling unwell, watch the live-streaming video through Gass Haney’s website or their Facebook page
