Doris Irene Boesch

Doris Irene Boesch, 93, of Humphrey, Nebraska, died Sunday, Dec. 22, 2109, at Meridian Gardens in Columbus, Neb.

Mass of Christian Burial was Friday, Dec. 27, at 10 a.m. at St. Francis Catholic Church, and Father Eric Olsen celebrated the Mass. Interment was in the St. Francis Cemetery. Visitation was on Thursday from 4-7 p.m. at the church and a 4 p.m. Christian Mothers Rosary and a 7 p.m.Vigil Service. Visitation continued on Friday from 9-10 a.m. at the church.

Doris Boesch was born Sept. 20, 1926, in Humphrey, Neb., to Charles and Pauline (Bender) Pfeifer. She graduated from St. Francis High School in 1944 and on Feb. 27, 1946, was united in marriage to Victor Boesch at St. Francis Catholic Church.

Doris was a lifelong member of St. Francis Catholic Church, a member of Christian Mothers and attended Mass daily. She enjoyed keeping up on current events – reading several papers from cover to cover daily. She enjoyed her daily walks and was very family orientated.

Doris is survived by:

Son – Jack (Cindy) Boesch of Humphrey, Neb.

Son – Todd Boesch of Modale, Iowa

Daughter – Janet (Randy) Hanson of Columbus, Neb.

Doris was preceded in death by:

Parents – Charles and Pauline Pfeifer

Husband – Victor Boesch

Daughter – Jill Boesch

Sons – Terry and Tim Boesch

Sisters – Ellen Howe, Violet Glassman, and Angela Pfeifer

Brothers – Elmer, Jerome, and Charles Pfeifer
