Ralph L. Mausbach

Ralph L. Mausbach, age 91, died Thursday, March 28, 2019, at Brookestone Acres in Columbus.

Mass of Christian Burial was 11:30 a.m. Monday April 1, 2019 at St. Isidore Catholic Church in Columbus, and the Reverend Joseph A. Miksch officiated. Visitation was 3-5 p.m. Sunday was a 5 p.m. Vigil Service at St. Isidore Church. Visitation continued Monday morning from 10:30-11:30 a.m. also at the church.

Ralph L. Mausbach was born January 16, 1928 in Humphrey, Neb., to John and Olive (Krings) Mausbach. He graduated from St. Francis High School in 1946. On Feb. 3, 1954, Ralph was united in marriage to Florene (Korth) Sueper at St. Francis Church in Humphrey. The couple lived and farmed south of Humphrey until retiring. In 1980 they moved to Columbus where Ralph worked as a realtor for Centry 21 and then for Kumpf/Wallick. He enjoyed history, following the stock market and spending time with his family. Ralph was a member of St. Isidore Church and a life time member of the Knights of Columbus. On Feb. 3, 2019, Ralph and Florene celebrated their 65th Wedding Anniversary.
