Defensive effort helps HSF girls post pair of wins

St. Francis put the defensive clamps on Hartington-Newcastle and coasted to a 77-40 win Friday.
The Wildcats hung around in the first quarter thanks to the three-point shooting of Alivia Morten, who hit three triples, scoring nine of her 11 points in the period. Still, the Flyers led 23-16 heading to the second quarter.
