St. Francis junior Andrew Kosch, right, shot a 78 and finished as runner up in the Patriot Invite. Freshmen Jacob Keller, left, carded an 86 and earned the 14th place medal. The team shot a 355 which placed them 5th in the 15 team tournament.

HSF boys top LHNE

St. Francis took control of Lutheran High Northeast in the third quarter to earn a 58-52 win Jan. 26.

Clinging to a 22-20 halftime lead, the Flyers outscored LHNE 19-6 in the third for a 41-26 lead heading to the fourth and sealed the game in the final period.

Trevor Pfeifer led the way with 26 points, seven rebounds and five steals.

Evan Foltz scored 13 points with four steals. Jarrett Weidner recorded five steals and Kolbe Classen five rebounds.
