St. Francis junior Andrew Kosch, right, shot a 78 and finished as runner up in the Patriot Invite. Freshmen Jacob Keller, left, carded an 86 and earned the 14th place medal. The team shot a 355 which placed them 5th in the 15 team tournament.

HSF girls make quick work of LHNE

The St. Francis girls did not allow Lutheran High Northeast to reach double figures in any quarter on its way to a 63-33 win Jan. 26.

The Flyers led 12-7 after the first and stretched its advantage to 32-16 at halftime.

They put the game away in the third, taking a 47-25 heading to the fourth quarter.

Tara Foltz led St. Francis with 19 points, and Allison Weidner scored 14 with eight rebounds, and eight steals. Kayleigh Sjuts and Foltz each had six rebounds.
