Lady Bulldogs 2nd at NBC holiday tourney
Humphrey-Lindsay Holy Family placed second in the North Bend Central Holiday Tournament.
After defeating Omaha Concordia 64-31, the Lady Bulldogs fell to the hosts 61-39.
Against Concordia, they raced out to a 15-5 lead after the first quarter and put up 23 points in the second for a halftime lead of 38-16.
Another 23-point quarter in the third grew the lead to 61-22 heading to the fourth.
Addison Schneider led with 26 points and 18 rebounds, 11 on the offensive end of the court.
Alisha Dahlberg added eight points, Paige Beller scored six with seven boards, and Riley Jurgens, Halle Beller and Mollie Groteluschen all scored six.

The Lady Bulldogs nine game win streak came to an end against North Bend Central as they fell 61-39 in the tourney championship game.
The Lady Tigers led throughout, jumping out to a 20-9 first quarter lead and never looked back.
The deficit grew to 35-15 at halftime, and the Lady Bulldogs played better offensively in the second half, but couldn’t make up the deficit.
Addison Schneider scored 10 points and had five rebounds. Paige Beller scored seven and led with seven rebounds.
Riley Jurgens and Halle Bender each tallied eight points.
