St. Francis junior Andrew Kosch, right, shot a 78 and finished as runner up in the Patriot Invite. Freshmen Jacob Keller, left, carded an 86 and earned the 14th place medal. The team shot a 355 which placed them 5th in the 15 team tournament.

Lady Bulldogs crowned Friend tourney champs

The Humphrey-Lindsay Holy Family Lady Bulldog Volleyball team traveled to Friend Sept. 8 for their first weekend tournament of the season.

The H-LHF Bulldogs first played the Friend Lady Bulldogs, closing the game out in two quick sets, beating Friend 25-14 and 25-12. H-LHF was able to rely on their deep bench to close out the game and record another win on their season.

Leading kills for morning game was Taya Beller with four, followed by Addison Schneider with three, Danie Brandl and Yasmine Bender with two each, and Madison Swerczek with one.
