Lady Bulldogs season ends in district final

They put up a fight, but the Humphrey-Lindsay Holy Family girls saw their season end Saturday at the hands of Mead in the district final at David City.

The Lady Bulldogs took the first set 25-20, but dropped the next three 17-25, 16-25, 19-25.

“Saturday was exciting and definitely fun to catch Mead off guard. Unfortunately, they had a few more horses than we did. We appeared to play a bit tired during sets 2 and 3. Our last siege in the 4th was unsuccessful, but our season was the opposite,” head coach Cami Oelsligle said.
