Lady Flyers fall to Burwell, defeat Howells-Dodge

The St. Francis girls suffered their first loss of the season Saturday, falling to Burwell 45-44.

The Lady Flyers fell behind early, trailing 17-9 after the first quarter. They rallied in the second to cut the deficit to 29-27 at the half.

Burwell increased its lead to 39-35, only to see St. Francis come back in the fourth, falling just short in their comeback efforts.
