Lady Flyers race out to fast start in win over Heartland Lutheran

Allison Weidner scored 16 of her game-high 26 points in the first quarter Saturday, to lead St. Francis past Heartland Lutheran 77-27.

The senior Nebraska Cornhusker recruit connected on 13 of 17 field goals, handed out seven assists and recorded seven steals to fill the stat sheet.

The Lady Flyers took a 35-2 lead after the first and led 50-10 at halftime before substituting freely in the second half.
