St. Francis junior Andrew Kosch, right, shot a 78 and finished as runner up in the Patriot Invite. Freshmen Jacob Keller, left, carded an 86 and earned the 14th place medal. The team shot a 355 which placed them 5th in the 15 team tournament.

Lady Flyers soar to Goldenrod Conference championship

The Goldenrod Conference championship belongs to St. Francis.

The Lady Flyers dropped just one set in winning the title, rallying from a first set loss to Burwell in the tital game Saturday to win 23-25, 25-15, 25-7, 25-15.

The reached the finals by beating Fullerton 25-12, 25-18, 29-27. St. Francis breezed to a first round win Oct. 15, whipping Spalding Academy 25-4, 25-10, 25-6.
