Lady Flyers to state

State bound.

The St. Francis Flyers are headed to the state tournament after defeating the Stuart Broncs in three for the district championship Nov. 2.

Subdistrict play took place in Greeley Oct. 28. The Flyers met the Beavers of St. Edward. Serving was strong for the Flyers with Lauren Pfeifer scoring on 14 in a row in the first set. The Lady Flyers advanced to the second round with a three-set win with scores of 25-2, 25-2, 25-6. With 99 percent serving, the Flyers earned many points on the serve.
