Lady Flyers sweep their way to state

St. Francis defeats Twin Loup in straight sets in district final

Down two starters, no problem.

St. Francis is heading back to state after sweeping Twin Loup Saturday 25-13, 25-15, 25-18 in the Class D2-5 District final at Boone Central High School in Albion.

Kylee Wessel and Alissa Kosch were out because of coronavirus quarantine, so the rest of the team stepped up.

Jalyssa Hastreiter came up big, recording 19 digs defensively.
