St. Francis junior Andrew Kosch, right, shot a 78 and finished as runner up in the Patriot Invite. Freshmen Jacob Keller, left, carded an 86 and earned the 14th place medal. The team shot a 355 which placed them 5th in the 15 team tournament.

Pfeifer's 24 leads Flyers over Norfolk Catholic

Trevor Pfeifer scored 24 points to lead St. Francis over Norfolk Catholic 58-46 Jan. 25. The Flyers took a 12-10 first quarter lead and increased its advantage to 22-17 at the half.

They created some distance in the third by outscoring the Knights 17-11 for a 39-28 lead going into the fourth quarter.

Pfeifer also led the team with nine rebounds and four steals. Jarrett Weidner scored 10 points with three steals. Evan Foltz scored eight points with seven rebounds.

Ethan Pipe led Norfolk Catholic with 15 points.
