St. Francis girls start fast to hold off Pierce 53-48

A fast start was the difference.

St. Francis outscored Pierce 17-7 in the first quarter and went on to post a 53-48 road win.

The Bluejays rallied in the second, outscoring the Lady Flyers 17-10 in the period to trim the St. Francis halftime lead to 27-24.
