HSF tops LHNE, St. Ed., fall to Pierce

A tough loss was all the motivation St. Francis needed.

The Flyers put together a team effort here Saturday night to down Lutheran High Northeast 57-21.

“We had a little bit of a walkthrough this morning and talked about the things we needed to do better, and I thought they really followed through with what our needs were,” head coach Bryan Reichmuth said. “We played hard, we played smarter, just an all-around good game, a game we absolutely needed. After last night we were feeling blue about ourselves and knew we were better than we played last night.”
