Make way for Valentine’s Day.
I was out of town recently, walking around a store as workers were removing all the Christmas items from the shelves to make room for Valentines candy, cards and decorations.
Valentine’s Day is Feb. 14, more than a month away, and stores are filling their aisles with chocolates and cupid decorations because they know the longer they stretch out the season, the more money they make.
