Lindsay Academy’s FCCLA (Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America) chapter made school history this summer by attending the National FCCLA Leadership Conference for the first time. The event took place in Orlando, Fla., and brought together over 10,000 students, advisers, and chaperones from all over the country.
On April, 15 students from Lindsay Academy competed at the Nebraska State FCCLA Conference in Lincoln. Out of those 15, 11 placed in the top 3 of their events. From that group, 8 students who placed 1st or 2nd were able to move on and compete at the national level in Orlando.
