An ordinance addressing building permit applications was approved by the Lindsay Village Board of Trustees during its July 7 meeting.
The ordinance comes after the June meeting in which there were concerns, and the board wants to provide a means when and how a building permit can be issued before the board can officially assemble to review the application.
The ordinance pertains to when special circumstances exist and time is of the essence and the issuance of a permit cannot wait until the regular board meeting and a special board meeting “is inadvisable.”
