I’m turning into one of those “back in my day” people.
I was watching the MLB allstar game last week. The game was tied at 6 after 9 innings, so that meant extra innings, right?
Nope. There was a type of home run derby to settle the score. The American League and the National League each picked three batters who got three swings, and the only hits that counted were home runs. The National League batters hit four home runs, and the American League, three.
