Facility can host any event
After years of planning, community visioning, and steady construction progress, the Lindsay Area Event Center is poised to become one of northeast Nebraska’s premier destinations for public and private events. As construction wraps up on the multi-use facility, organizers have officially opened the calendar for 2026 event bookings, inviting families, businesses, organizations, and individuals to begin planning now for their special occasions.
Located at 701 Elm Street in Lindsay, the Event Center is a key feature of the broader Lindsay Area Event & Wellness Center, a regional facility designed to promote wellness, recreation, community building, and economic development. The Event Center is the final phase and section of the overall Lindsay Area Event & Wellness Center. The overall project began construction in August 2024 with the first phase, including a fitness center, meeting rooms, and main gymnasium, indoor walking track, which is to be finished August 2025 with official opening Oct. 1. The Event Center phase will have construction completed at the end of November 2025 and public access December-January.
