RCUT at 81/91 marks 5 years
It’s been 5 years since the Nebraska department of Transportation (NDOT) opened the RCUT at Highways 81/91. Despite skepticism and criticism, the RCUT has proven to, not only work, but to be a safer way to travel on the once-dangerous intersection. NDOT hails intersection’s safety record

In November 2020, drivers were just getting use to a new configuration at Highway 81/91.

Five years later, the RCUT or Restricted Crossing U-Turn, has proven to be the answer to a once-dangerous intersection.
