Sometimes, I think we forget the people we watch on television are people, too.
I was preoccupied Thursday with Major League Baseball’s trade deadline. It’s a time when some teams try to jockey for the position by trading for players they hope will make them title contenders.
It’s also time when other teams throw in the towel, trade some of their best players for younger prospects they hope will make them title contenders some day.
