What it means to be a teen today
When I was growing up in the 1970s and ’80s, free time looked a little different. Afternoons were often spent riding bikes until the streetlights came on, playing pick-up games in the neighborhood or curling up with a good book. Phones were attached to the wall, televisions had only a handful of channels, and social media wasn’t even imagined yet. Times have certainly changed.
