Bulldogs fall to GACC, North Bend Central

Humphrey-Lindsay let the first set slip away against Guardian Angels Central Catholic then the match slipped away 23-25, 15-25, 16-25 here Sept. 9.

“We’re young, and we play like it, but what I told them in the locker room is they’re just as young,” head coach Cami Oelsligle said. “They have a more impactful hitter with No. 15 (senior Julie Ridder) in the middle, putting more balls away. That’s what your trading, one or two seniors and the rest are from that sophomore class, and their pretty talented.

“That’s what I told the girls, we can hit just as hard as No. 16 (sophomore Bailey Gerths), but she believes she was going to do it every single time, and we didn’t believe we were going to do it every single time,” she said.
