On Thursday, the Humphrey- Lindsay cross country team traveled to Tekamah for the East Husker Conference meet.
Head coach Joe Hesse said, the previous year the team placed 6th in the team standings, and that was a huge motivator for them all summer long. The goal for the last year was to bring home some hardware from this meet.
The boys’ team accomplished that goal, finishing second as a team. Miciah Mohrman becomes the first boy representing the Bulldogs to be crowned the champion. He ran an 18:49 and beat second place by 9 seconds.
