Defenders set tone at conference meet

On Thursday, the Archangels Catholic High School cross country teams delivered impressive performances at the Goldenrod Conference Meet in Fullerton. The event showcased the dedication of both the high school and junior high runners, highlighting their hard work throughout the season.

Claire Wegener stood out as the only high school girl competing in the meet, finishing in 2nd place, setting a positive tone for the remaining races.

The boys team also had notable achievements, with Jaiden Anderson finishing in 2nd place. Although he did not achieve a personal record (PR) during the race, he made headlines by breaking the school record. His teammate Jadyn Olmer secured a 15th place finish and also medaled. Additionally, Daven Zach ran his best time of the year, contributing to the overall success of the team. The boys team tied for third in points, but ultimately placed fourth overall.
