During the month of September 2025, 23 people were killed in traffic crashes on Nebraska roadways, according to data collected by the Nebraska Department of Transportation.
• These 23 fatalities occurred in 21 fatal crashes.
• Nine of the twenty vehicle occupants killed were not using seatbelts, six were using a seatbelt, and five had seatbelt usage marked as unknown.
