Mom would have turned 103 last Saturday.
Born Oct. 25, 1922, she passed in 1997, living to be 74, and living 15 years longer than my father, who was born Nov. 10, 1921, and died in 1982. He was 61.
It’s funny how the mind remembers things, especially time. I remember my mom living many years after my dad died, but it didn’t seem like 15 years until I think back to all the things that happened in my life from the time I lost Dad until the time I lost Mom.
