Archangels put up a fight against a tough Class D-1 Central Valley squad, but fell on senior night 16-25, 11-25, 23-25 Oct. 21.
Head coach Susan Lindsley said she liked the fight in her team.
“It’s hard coming off their loss to them on Saturday,” she said. “This wasn’t a defeating loss, they fought, they played well. I still think there’s more in them, but they (Central Valley) a good team. They did fight, you never know what emotions are in it for the seniors, but they came together,” Lindsley said.
