It's time for fall wrap up

Once a week for over 43 years, I have extended sciencebased lawn and landscape information through this article. As shared earlier, I retired in July but continued to share information via this article.

As the growing season winds down, I will also wrap up writing the article. Thanks to all of you who’ve been readers through the years and shared with me how they were of help to you. I always appreciated hearing the comments.

This is a great time for me to introduce the new Nebraska Extension Educator for horticulture in the Platte County area. Taylor Cammack started in the position on Monday, November 3. She is a Nebraska native and a University of Nebraska-Lincoln graduate, and has some unique horticulture work experiences. I encourage you to reach out to Taylor with your lawn, garden, and landscape questions or stop by the Extension office in downtown Columbus to meet and welcome her.
