I don’t think Thanksgiving has been forgotten.
I know times have changed, and retailers have been selling Christmas items for months — remember if shoppers weren’t buying they wouldn’t sell — but families still gather to give thanks.
Thanksgiving came early to our house this year. We celebrated the Saturday before the holiday because that’s what worked out for everyone’s family, and that’s OK.
